Teacher Biography
Hi! I am Julie Zamora, owner/director of Kid's Company Performing Group, Ltd. I have an extensive background in music and the performing arts, with over 25 years of experience.
I am a former teacher for Zanesville City Schools, with the Zanesville Even Start Program. I was the owner/director of the Sunshine Generation Children's Performing Group of Zanesville, Ohio. Sunshine Generation is an international group with thousands of boys and girls participating in its award winning program. I was also the owner of Creative Kids Preschool of Newark, Ohio, and integrated music in the curriculum.
In the summer of 1999, I was contracted by the Longaberger Company as their vocal coach and Entertainment Coordinator for their theme park, The Longaberger Homestead.
I have coached and prepared local pageant winners for their vocal talent performances for the Miss Ohio Pageant.
My choreography experience has been extensive as well. I have choreographed for many community theater productions, some to include Grease, Annie, Babes In Toyland, Meet Me In St. Lewis, and Fiddler On The Roof.
I have also provided choreography and coached cheerleading and dance teams helping them win national awards.
In addition to all of this, I have taught vocal lessons to children and young adults for the past twenty years.
