About Us
Kid's Company Performing Group, Ltd. was founded by Julie Zamora, who has been teaching performing arts to kids of all ages for the past 25 years. Participants in this top-rated program learn and develop skills in singing, dancing, public speaking, showmanship, and acting. Children gain confidence by mastering these skills, and also by performing on a regular basis. Students will be given the opportunity to develop their individual talents, as well as work together as a team.
Kid's Company Promises Fun!
Classes are highly interactive and structured to enhance your child's desire and ability to perform. This program is designed to teach children many aspects of the performing arts, and offers a well-rounded curriculum.
Vocal Training Singing:
Children can learn very basic techniques at an early age. We will play fun games, and learn vocal warm-up songs to help develop good breathing, tone quality, pitch, projection, and vocal range.
Microphone Skills:
Each child will be given the opportunity to use a microphone. We will spend time speaking and singing while holding the microphone during our one (1) hour class each week. Our performers perform as a group. Spoken narrations are part of the curriculum, as well as special singing parts. Every child who would like a part may have one.
Dancing/Choreography:
All routines are choreographed for both boys and girls. Because each show has a different theme, our students will learn a variety of music and dance. Dance experience is not required to be in Kid's Company. Dance techniques are integrated in age-appropriate ways, making all the steps easy to master.
Showmanship/Acting:
Children will participate in fun and imaginative acting exercises that will help to develop their creative expression and style. We will work on how to act out feelings and emotions, play charades, and practice the art of pantomime.
